Type and Speak

Make your phone say out loud whatever you type! Save speech to use as ringtones and alarms. Share text and web sites from other apps to Type and Speak to have them read aloud.

Supports built-in UK English, US English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish pronunciations. Also supports SVOX Classic or Loquendo TTS for additional accents.

To read web sites aloud: open your phone's browser to the page you want to read, then select "Share page" from the browser menu and click Type and Speak.

It is bad because you are trying to turn up the pitch or speed and it's glitching out I accidentally changed the language and now I can't change it back it's an absolute waste of time please don't get it there's no point

This app is great for my mom who can't speak due to cancer, but she can't share the files from the file area. It says "could not attach file" when she try to put it in a message to send to someone. However when she's first saves it there is an option to share it and that works just fine. So if you fix that glitch it will be a 5 star app!

This app was the MOST brilliant thing!! My friend and I were doing a sponsored silence a few weeks back, a we found it incredibly hard to not speak for 24 hours!!!! MUCH harder than it sounds!! My friend downloaded this and told me about it after!! GENIUS!! My only complaint is that it can't pronounce some of the words but apart from that it was PERFECT!!!
